Conclusions

Quality Assessment: Very Good. Alcohol is well integrated. Expresive character of all 3 levels of aromas. A small downside is the finish, not so long and complex and tannins feel a bit unripe, which might change with ageing.

Bottle Ageing: Suitable for bottle ageing. There is enough acidity, tannin and alcohol to hold probably up to 20 years of aging (when done properly). In terms of flavour and aromas, there are still plenty of primary and secondary which will have enough time to turn into smooth aged tertiary characteristics over time.

Final Remarks

I can say that this is great and affordable way to enter in Bordeaux and its magnificent Grand Cru’s. Always open and leave to breathe at least 2 to 3 hours on room temperature.
