Conclusions

Quality Assessment: Very Good. Very complex wine, well integrated between fruit and alcohol, strong structure with high levels of tannin and acidity. What lacks is strong fulfiling finish, is a bit unsatisfying and probably needs more ageing.

Bottle Ageing: Suitable for bottle ageing. There is plenty of support of acidity, tannin and alcohol to hold further ageing. I would say it will reach its pick after 5 to 8 years, but it can stay easy in total of 20 to 25 years. Plenty of strong primary aromas and hints of secondary which will well develop in aged tertiary flavours and garnet color.

Final Remarks

This wine is definitely one step up from the previous Bordeaux we had on the tasting lab. It has definitely more complexity and satisfaction. the only reason we don’t score it 9 is probably because of the wine being too young, I am sure that in a few years it will definitely get 9 of 10. Buy it now and save for 5 to 10 years, the price will double easily while you have a delicious wine in your wine cellar.
