Conclusions

Quality Assessment: Outstanding. Wine is very complex and very well balanced, acidity and tannin are supporting the structure, the alcohol is well integrated. Very long finish, bursting of flavour and aromas of dried fruit, coffee, caramel.

Bottle Ageing: Not Suitable for bottle ageing. The wine has reached its ageing potential. Fully developed and all primary fresh notes have turn into tertiary dried fruit. Its pick was one or two years ago, so drink up to 10 years after vintage released, if preserved correctly.

Final Remarks

This is one of the best Orange wines out there. It’s so complex, but so delicate, elegant and full of life. With every sip you explore a new world of flavours and the finish just stay so long and makes you wonder of all the flavours coming out of it. The wine see up to 12 months of skin contact in Amphora and then up to 24 months in wood. Compliments to Paolo Vodopivec!!!
